The Clash were very successful in France, and I still think that the iconic status of the Union Jack here has more to do with Paul Simonon than the Royal Family or other British institutions. Amazed to see this faded poster for the band - could this really be from the Eighties?
London calling still gives me a buss. Elvis Costello supported by the Undertones are playing the Arts Festival here in July, if I rest up I might be able to pogo by then. Great find this, looks all the better for it's faded quality.
