There must be thousands of photos like this. It was taken from the viewing platform. Most seem to be in portrait format, but I needed a landscape shot. Judging from the postcards available, autumn seems to be the best time, as it adds a lot of leaf colour. And I guess early morning would be best, as the sun would be coming from behind your left shoulder and lighting up the buildings.
