We're supposed to stay within 1km for less than 1 hour, but today, with the start of deconfinement in sight, I broke all the rules and went for 15 km, 4 hours in the mountains towards the border. Met one other hiker. Stopped for refreshments outside a silent refuge. I forgot to feed Jasper before we left, our normal routine of walk/breakfast/sleep/walk/dinner having been disrupted by the restrictions. Jasper was not in my good books, having taken advantage of one of my photo pauses to roll himself in some fresh cow poop.
Deconfinement will start for us on the 11th May (Day 56). We will then be allowed to go upto 100 km, gather in groups of upto 10, and no longer have to limit ourselves to one excursion/day. We will still have to do social distancing ..... especially from spaniels that smell of cow poop.
