Monument aux Morts, Céret

There are 35,000 memorials for the 1.4 million French killed in WW1. Most were mass-produced but four in this area were produced by a celebrated sculptor, Aristide Maillol (celebrated enough to have his own museum in Paris). I took this at Céret on Saturday and today I will go to Elne to see the one there.
