This is my 100th picture and I am so happy that I have taken on this project. I can honestly say that this project has helped me see the world around me differently at times and I have been so inspired by the people here.
What has surprised me most about this is not only have I gotten to know my camera better which was a goal of mine (as I was stuck in "automatic mode"), but also I have gotten to know and care about some people here and have really come to look forward to seeing their pictures each day. Can't wait to continue!
Regarding this picture: A late evening at a coffee shop is truly ideal for "people watching". I was sitting alone here waiting for my husband to be finished a late shift at work. It's amazing all the things that take place in a Starbucks - couples on dates, people having business meetings, individuals sitting alone working on their laptops, and people quietly reading. When I took this picture the place was finally nearly empty.
@daveanajao wow Dave thank you for that, that was very nice to read your comment
@cynak Cindy I do have photoshop, not too good at using it yet, also have Aperture for my mac which I noticed has a dodge and burn tool, i think i shall explore it and see what it can do, thanks for that feedback, greatly appreciated :)
@michelleyoung thanks Michelle I was trying to be discreet while taking it, afraid I would get kicked out, lol
@bobg thank you Bob, and I must say I have enjoyed watching your progression as well!
@hjbenson Harry thank you for that, I really appreciate your taking the time to look and comment :)
Congratulatiosn Lauren you pulled this "one out of the bag" big style. So pleased you continued in B&W theme & this is one of those shots the more you look the more you see. In large you can see all the crain patterns in the wood etc. Well done you did Day 100 justice but I agree it's stressful though. Faved it BTW
@spthorne Really???! you like this one? well thanks! I viewed it larger like you suggested and do like it better that way. thank you so much for the fav :D hope you're having a lovely evening
@anron I had just thought of you earlier today because I noticed at the time I hadn't "seen" you in a few days and remembered you weren't feeling well. maybe you have a new picture now, so i will pop by your page to see
