I went for a really nice walk today and took this picture. Despite it being a little on the cold side again today, it was nice and sunny. Still a bit of snow left, but it's just about gone now.
I think this picture looks slightly better larger only because of the black background it gives...(but to be honest doesn't look very good large either)
*Now that I am finished my little B&W series from the past several days, I must say that I sort of miss it. I didn't think that I would enjoy it as much as I did, but it really forced me to look at light and lines, and shapes differently.
@jgoldrup urrgh, I know! It nearly killed me to not make it B&W. okay maybe I'm being dramatic, lol, but seriously I appreciate the feedback and completely agree, but yes... (sigh) i needed to move on :D
Nice angle. Good earth tones, B&W (I feel) would be for a more dreary type of day. This looks more inviting after strolling around, so I guess do you want to show a restful or dramatic place.
Maybe you're actually 'seeing' in b&w? That's what Tina Modotti did...recently watched a doc about her called 'Tina in Mexico'. Quite fascinating to see how the pioneers made their photographs.
Lauren I think I've got used to your B&W so would be interesting to see it is B&W to contrast. I like the angle you have taken & the detail in the seat wood & the bits of leaves etc especially theo ne on the seat. It's agreat shot just looked up again before posting & it is one to be viewed large but also changing my mind as the only real colour in it is the green bench frame the rest is very muted. Nice shot as everyone else viewing agrees
to anyone above that comes back to look at this or see if I responded to their comments, I have read all of the comments and appreciate the feedback :)
@kammy lol hmmm then I think I better post some more cheerful looking ones (although the one I just posted for the 13th might have the same feeling to it...) thanks for the feedback!
