I pass this tree often, and decided this time to take a picture of it. I sort of like the way the roots look, but also ran out of ideas for the day, so quickly took this with my point and shoot while walking home.
Nice shot lauren I like the green at the base of the tree also along with the patterns of the roots. I usualy don't notice roots til I've triped over them... lol Have a lovely weekend :-)
@spthorne thank you, and I have tripped over this many times, lol I almost rolled my ankle on this once before. The odd thing is, I can walk around this if I wanted, but I always like to walk over it instead
@flamez they really are interesting! there are some trees that are so old and large and I wonder how for their roots go under the ground. I love trees, lol
I like tree roots too, and these are definitely staking a claim of their own on this patch of ground. It makes me think that tree root patterns are as individual as fingerprints.
