And this is my attempt to make a raining cloud in Elements.
I wanted to put the boat in an actual picture of water but not sure how to do that because I don't know how to put another picture as a layer (if that makes sense). I'll figure it out one day :)
I should have also said that if you take the lasso tool and outline the boat and then say layer via cut or copy, you will be able to drag the boat onto the real picture of water. :)
Those boats are not as easy to make 'perfectly' as they look, at least that is from my own experience. You did a beautiful job. I particularly like the little raindrop splatters under the boat where it's shadow is.
Very creative! I've never used elements but if I recall correctly, in cs you can just drag and drop one pic on top of the other and they both show up melded together. Should be the same in elements, I would think.
@jgoldrup hmmmm you're gonna be angry with me but this post-it was never used for any other purpose first. in hindsight, i should have at least written something on it first. oh but maybe i can still re-use it by unfolding the boat and putting a note on it or something :)
