After seeing Simon's (@spthorne) moon shot - which turned out really well http://365project.org/spthorne/365/2011-10-06 , I was inspired to try to do one too. I took this on our first night of our weekend trip to Kananaskis. It was so nice to be able to look at the moon and stars without the distraction of city lights.
I got home from our weekend getaway last night (Monday) and now will be catching up with my uploads, viewing, and commenting.
this is so beautiful. i tried to get some shots last night but was not happy at all with mine; the moon was very bright and i did not do my settings correctly.
