My husband and I spent the day exploring Kananaskis and I have to say it is so beautiful there. The weather was absolutely perfect - mostly sunny but not too warm. There were so many pretty views of the mountains and several lakes and rivers. I'm so happy that we went at this time of year because the changing colours of the leaves made it even more pretty in my opinion.
For me, the strange thing about this picture is that a half hour drive prior to this we were in an area surrounded by snow (Canada's highest paved road) and just below freezing.
Overall it was a perfect little weekend, with lots of time spent enjoying the scenery and just relaxing together.
That's a really pretty scene. You have captured it well. My wife and I went for a long holiday weekend as well. I saw my fair share of snow and even spun out on Cameron Pass Summit in Colorado. I was a little shaken that's all. I have been documenting this trip for a few days now. Glad you had a good weekend, too.
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! It´s paradise..and what a wonderful photo of it. I'm afraid I'm gonna miss it..I'm about to quit..will write you about it later. You´re an artist!
