This was a 7km loop walk we did called Nichol's Gorge walk. This shot was taken from the top of the open plains, just before we're about to descent down into the valley. To get to the plains, we climbed up a really steep section of the track that seemed like it was never going to end....but then we were greeted with such beautiful open plains that went for miles....but not only that, the one thing that really struck me was the amazing smell of the wildflowers & beautiful fresh air. It was truly unbelievable.
A great walk that indulged us with beautiful gorges, meandering dry creek beds, wonderful caves, gorgeous open plains, magnificent wild flowers, spectacular views and a flowing creek crossing or 2 - that has a story in itself that I will save for another time :)
