Cherry blossom trees by leggzy

Cherry blossom trees

Along the entrance of the Japanese War Cemetery.

When I was there at the beginning of August, it was too early for the blossoms as the buds were only just forming. I may have been a bit early on this visit as there wasn't an abundance of blossoms. Not sure why they are all leaning & arching to the left - I don't think it's the wind as that is not the direction that the winds normally come from, so it's a bit of a mystery for me
Nice capture!

I can just see the small white buds waiting to burst out. Strange to see the trees leaning like that…..I would have thought wind too….a beautiful place to rest though.
