these used to scare the bejesus out of me when i was a little girl! and i remember that big five-point star in the planes' underbellies as they pass above us. of course it didn't help that we lived near the american air base. my father these days whenever he hears the roaring planes when there's an airshow going on, never fails to mention till now to anyone who would listen how in two seconds flat i could climb up his neck when those planes passed by, screaming and crying. but these days, i could always spot those old american planes during air shows.
