Tried my hand at oil and water photography. I should have taken a set up photo you would have laughed. Eight pepsi cans stacked in two's holding a plastic clear plate off the floor with camera facing down on a tripod very close (touching) cans. A small desk lamp aimed at the paper under the plate. Everything was fine till I went to change the paper and a can moved and tipped the plate which ended my picture taking as I cleaned up the oily water mess. Oh well this is the best of the handful I got . I'll try again
i like it. you should've taken a shot of your set up. i have never been successful with this. i like the colour, it's like you're under water with ice floes. in fact, i even see a face in that big circle in the middle. :-) aces, my friend. aces!
I'm sure the reason you have such an interesting project with so many wonderful shots is because of all the work you do to set up. Another wonderful result here!
this is beautiful l have never tried this. Your set up sounds involved but worth this photo! sorry about the mess which may be why I have never tried this
