Clearing the Burn

An inch and a half of rain overnight gave the burn a good clear out of any debris that had got struck in various places over the past few dryish weeks. The stepping stones in this photo were out of action and in fact the right hand stone has been pushed off its base by the force of the water.

The water looks very brown - the force of the water and soil etc. But still contained in each edge!

@maggiemae When we get a lot of rain after a dry spell the water is very peaty for a day or two.
