Behind these beautiful copper beeches is a promise of a treat both for children and adults. No more animals at circus, just humans doing "un human' acts! Leaping around in the air and twisting themselves inside out etc. The tent does look very exciting, though, It is down on our local park and I walked there this morning.
@marlboromaam I think its because nobody wants to see animals being made to perform and there are a lot of 'societies' who would kick up an awful fuss. The general public probably agree. Thanks for your comment!
@maggiemae Interesting! Thanks for that info. I haven't been to the circus since I was a little girl (over 45 years ago or about) but, they come here every year with elephants, tigers, horses, dogs, etc. At least that's what the advertising on TV shows. Have only heard of one circus without animals that's the "Cirque du Soleil" which are only acrobats and trapezist. Please excuse my ignorance!
Nice colourful shot Maggiemae! As children circus's were such fascinating and exciting places - l have been lucky enough to go to a couple of 'Cirque de soleil' performance's which were amazing !!
