My hula hoop arrived by courier and we took some time to put it together. It has small plastic bubbles in the side with magnets in the middle of them. To give a therapeutic massage to the abdomen, so they say! I bought one recently which was really just a toy and fell down to the ground immediately. John just said I'd lost my touch. However this one is heavier and when I tried it, I could keep it up very well and so was pleased! I tried it so many times, my abdomen became quite sore so I had to stop.
Three good things:
1. Cold and windy day (no snow yet) so was able to do some armchair travelling.
2. The white cat with black spots, (new in the SPCA) tried to become top cat and climb up to the top on the highest cage but this was valiantly defended by the two top other cats who had had that spot for weeks! However, a bit later on, I saw her on top and the other two had given up and gone to another perch.
3. I tried a manual setting on my camera that I had never got the hang of and got the hang of it!
This hoola hoop looks a very high tech model, very unlike the old school days plastic hoop.....you are a fun girl!!
Love to see a video when you have got the hang of it!!
I never ever ever mastered hula hooping -- so good on you! That is an amazing hoop. I like your number 3 good thing especially, having had a minor break through recently with manual settings.
Good shot. Love the circular vignette framing for this. Perhaps a hula hoop like that would help me. The one I have is light weight and difficult to keep up.
What a great exercise and it seems a very unique Hula hoops. I still do hula hoops just needed to get a new one. I did enjoy doing that even when I was younger.
well aren't you the cutie! I wish I could hula hoop....I never can do it...it just falls right away....I saw these people with GIGANTIC size hula hoops the other day at the beach....they looked like they were having fun with them.
I have not used a hula hoop in years. Love your new one and your photo. I hope it works for you. Funny about the cats at the rescue where you work. Congrats on getting the manual setting to work. I am still using auto all of the time. I know, I need to use manual as I will get better photos. I will one day.
whoa! you got the mercedes benz of hula hoops! that is thicker and looks heavier. use it all the time and you'll have the hour glass shape in no time. good on you, maggiemae!
Love to see a video when you have got the hang of it!!
