Our first snow arrived today. Looking out of the window which had snow spots on it, towards the road which was still white from the snow.
Three good things:
1. Met my niece (only 1 year younger than me) and her husband by chance in a cafe where we chose to go because they have date scones there on this day.
2.There was no typhoon arriving in Japan where son John had said it was expected.
3. Great to see some 365's still going. But its difficult when they 'catch up' with about 6 or 7 photos all at once and they might be all excellent but only time to view one or two.
I agree about number 3 GT but i do try & comment on one of them...think most people understand!
Snow on the Desert road in North Island too so a very cold winter for you maggiemae! looks rather pretty through the window....date scones sound delicious!!
Pretty shot! I've been on a see-saw with 365 lately. Post pictures, then go through a slump, post more pictures, back in a slump. Never feel obligated to comment on all of them- just choose the thumbnail that interests you most and do that one. I certainly understand. It's just the OCD in me has to fill in all the blanks!
You with snow & we have our summer solstice and a warm day as well -
Beautiful capture of your winter scene --just love the snow spots on the window !!
Nice shot....I am almost guilty as charged....have been having busy times and no time to post...try to do only two at a time. will be playing catch up again this weekend! Instead, right now, I am trying to catch up on my views and comments...so you'll have lots to read!! lol
Beautiful shot! Hard to think of you with your first snow when we are just beginning beach weather. Also guilty as charged, but hope to do better with two big things out of the way.
nicely presented, it looks so nice and peaceful - glad for 1 and 2, for 3 I do have holes this year and I do have photos I took on those days to post, but I cannot bring myself to post more than 3 photos on any given day, so it will time time to catch up.
today is the official start of summer in the northern hemisphere and you guys are having snow. wait...did you say date scones? i had those only once in my life and suddenly i'm wanting to go to europe just to have some.
Great shot and nice to take it from the comfort of your home. Cannot believe that you have snow and it was 100 degrees here today though we will drop 30 degrees on Monday and get a day of rain. About the 6-7 photos, I am guilty of posting a few at a time and now trying to keep up as best as I can and posting one or two. I try to keep up with comments but it takes a lot of time so I do what I can.
Warm here. 3GT, I have been at a family reunion, so did not post yesterday and have not loaded anything in that spot. I am trying to catch up on commenting since I missed a couple of days. When people load a lot of shots, I do try to comment on several of them, sometimes all of them. It's the OCD thing I guess, LOL.
@grannysue I'm not saying people shouldn't post many, just that they might get less comments from people doing this. The photos posted of course, are for their own record and important for that reason!
