This was taken at the foot of a property in the country where our book club was holding a meeting. I have processed and it looks a bit like snow which brings on strong feelings of the 1812 overture!
Three good things:
1. I was told there was a dead cow on the road this morning but when I went past there was no sign.
2. Book club was great with an American guest expressing amazement at our procedures at just relating the books we had read over the month instead of studying one.
3. I do like to see the excellence on 365 with the photography of Aaron @grizzlysghost
Love what you've done with this. I rarely 'process' to any extent. I've no idea what this looked like originally but the result is perfect for the subject and time of year. A Fav is a bit inadequate.
@tonydebont thank you Tony - I just use the available picmonkey features and in this case, took the colour out of the shot. There were too many browns in the leaves.
@yonnie thanks Yvonne - yes, we have great discussions which involve so much of the countries of the world, history and writing styles not to mention a fabulous afternoon tea spread!
This seems perfect to me. Today as always Crescent City started their July 4th parade with a shot from the cannon from Battery Point Lighthouse. Your picture has the same feel
whoa! i thought it was snow and i suddenly shivered, notwithstanding it's 27 degrees here. we in the northern hemisphere don't want to mention the 's' word if we can help it at all. great processing, maggiemae. and what's the significance of 1812 over there? here in canada i'm just learning about the war of 1812 and it is quite interesting.
I love this! Makes me nostalgic. I'm realizing more and more that NZ is a place I have to visit. I'm working with an Aussie this summer and his wife is from there. What friendly, open people. (I'm from Texas and you all strike me as the 'Texans' from down under, and I mean that in the very best way!)

Our book club does pick a book and then we talk about what we thought it meant.
And I couldn't agree more about Aaron @grizzlyghost
