At the Victorian Festival happening next week, there is also a Stone Symposium where sculptors get together and make their own dreams come true! Some of these artists are so skilful. In the inset, there are two little girls starting out a career in sculpture!
Three good things:
1. Had an interesting morning collecting for the SPCA. Not a lot of money but some good communication.
2. A nice lunch at Fat Sally's - prawn and pork thingies with asian sauce. Now what are those 'thingies' called!
3. An exciting new competition in Oamaru - the prize is 1gb/sec!

ahhh, good old SPCA. I remember as a little girl going door to door collecting for the spca, then a doberman chased me for about two blocks. one of my first run-in with dogs that's why i have dog phobia. the good thing was we found out how fast I could run and got to compete on the hundred metre dash at school. you could've taken a photo of the prawn&pork thingie and we'd have ID'd it for you. thank heavens for fabulous days eh? very nice collage!
