A great and true story of a guy who was determined to trace the story of his family through the collection of tiny netsuke (pronounced "netski"). They are miniature wood or ivory carvings and originated in Japan. I have started reading this book having viewed a collection of Netsukes in Dunedin recently.
Three good things:
1. A dull day is good for reading
2. Learning new things
3. A picture of @happypat in NZ with @andreajoy
Well....I got completely sidetracked by clicking on the links to @andreajoy ....cruised her project...wrote her a note....and followed!
This sounds like an interesting book.
@maggiemae Too Many!! Breaks my heart when it's the younger ones...I have a good friend who was only 36 on diagnosis and her mother passed away barely a month after her diagnosis from mets! I was 48...still considered 'young' but at least my kiddies were mostly grown. Almost 8 yrs later now...still kicking and raising a fuss! lol
This sounds like an interesting book.
