Unterschweinsteige

Across the room in this traditional restaurant, these diners were unconcerned by the enormous boar towering over them!
Frankfurt, Germany.

Three good things;
1. This hotel is so impressive - 4 mins from the airport and you can hardly hear the sound of the planes taking off, often every 5 mins!
2. John's damaged leg enabled us to be transported through the corridors of several airports by wheelchair and airport car- sometimes flat out! I had to hold on!
3. German people are so friendly and mostly speak English.
this is brilliant fav

Dead animals on walls creep me out while dining. I tend to avoid these places.

@caroleb Its OK if you keep your head down and just look at the food. All around the walls were hunting things!

A bit different than the Dublin experience Maggiemae.......has John hurt his leg? Sounds a very good place to rest your heads, I like the sound of Frankfurt & the smoked food! Cosy scene somehow reminiscent of old days gone by in the local.....pass the ale & all that!

Did you warn them after you took the shot?! Oh dear, I missed the news about John's leg. I hope it's not too bad. And now you're in Germany? It seems like you just made it to Ireland- or was it Britain? I'm very confused with your jet-setting!! hehe
September 16th, 2014
Oh gosh...that's huge and disconcerting to be eating under it. But that's what makes it a good capture!
