The intense evening blue of the estuary in Christchurch signifies a lovely day with no haze or smog. From a friends home on the hills. Our arrival back in NZ was not accompanied with drums or a choir singing - we slipped in unnoticed to a very familiar scene.
Until we get home to unlimited internet later today I won't be able to stay on line to see other postings.
Three good things:
1. Slept for at least two hours on the plane and played endless games of scrabble.
2. The election day looms and good to get it all over with.
3. On the trail of an electric bike to purchase.
It's always good to be home. Hope you're over the jet lag. Great shot, love the blue tones. We flew into Christchurch for the start of our NZ odyssey. The first thing I noticed when I took a walk out from our hotel were the street names - Kilmore and Dromore Streets was the ones that really stood out as they are names from my region of NI. In fact family members worshipped in Kilmore Church.
