A lack of photo opportunities led me to look at whats new in the house. This little glass paperweight was given by us to my older sister who passed away recently and I've got it back. Its a picture of John and I taken over 20 years ago. I made that dress which was really quite outrageous in design and John still has that leather jacket but not the moustache.
For the ONS9 challenge
Three good things:
1 Rotten weather so sat by the fire and watched old episodes of "Keeping up Appearances".
2. In spite of the rain, got the glass house fixed with replacing holes with glass. Now the rain can only come in through the ceiling!
3. Fabulous fish and chips - from a cafe that is closing down unfortunately.
What a lovely gift and fitting that it has returned to you with memories of your sister attached. I remember a fabulous fish & chip meal I once had at a little cafe up on the cliffs just south of Oamaru. Best F&C ever.
You make a lovely couple there, Maggiemae. Hubby looks very tall - I would make a great contrast standing by him. Beautiful capture and thanks for sharing.
