As the day was miserable we didn't go to two motorbike events on this day. In the hotel in the evening there was a Masquerade Ball and I mingled in with my camera refusing champagne and nibbles (because I wasn't invited)
Three good things:
1. There were some stunning dresses worn by lovely young ladies.
2. The event we did have to go to was held in a marquee out of the city at a park. The wind was wild and flapped the solidly built tent but inside it was hardly noticed. This was the only good part - the noise of the band was so loud it reverberated through ones chest!
3. Hail hammered at the windows and roof but inside the hotel the radiators kept us cosy and warm.
A beautiful portrait of this young lady -- what fun - the weather did not enhance your day by the sound of things but as you always manage to do --you look on the bright side ! Hope the weather is better tomorrow !!
You had hail too as well as Brisbane? She has a beautiful, face for appearing a mask but I can see who she is! Are masks supposed to disguise one? Did you go to the ball dressed up with a mask...you would look odd taking photos in a mask!
Lovely masquerade shot. I would have enjoyed myself watching all these pretty ladies ( and I mean, just watching, haha). This shot reminds me of the Phantom of the Opera musical.
