by a drawing in an old diary calendar. I had the hydrangeas and some fruit so set it up. The original just had apples.
It wasn't till I had uploaded it and finished it that I noticed it wasn't perfect!
Three good things;
1. John got his lost hearing aid back! Some passerby in town picked it up, took to a local audio clinic who knew who made it, a firm in Auckland and rang them. They asked for the registration number and knew that it had been sent to a Hearing Clinic in Dunedin. They were rung, found out who had had it fitted, rang the Auckland place who then rang our local audio place who then rang John! Heavens to Betsy, people are wonderful!
2. Got two new duvet covers for the spare room beds. They have spent 4 years with none.
3. Incredible company I keep in 365 - nearly all my friends who had amazing pictures on TT!
4. Cut John's hair and was rewarded with a long black and a savoury muffin in one of our many cool coffee bars!
Well it looks perfect to me maggiemae.....It stood out a mile when I scrolled down!
Great detective work with the hearing aid.......I wonder if that would happen if I lost one of mine? Bet you were glad he got it back! I have mine through the NHS free but I notice in the instructions if I loose them I have to pay £100 to replace the ! Fair enough I suppose....I was worried yesterday trying on that I didn't knock them out of my ears.
Wonderful TGT today!
Love it Maggiemae -- A lovely artistic still life and if there is a hole in the leaf what does it matter it is a composed Still Life for photography and not a floral arrangement composition ! Love the bloom on the peach next to the glossy apple .
What a great story re John's hearing aid !Glad it all turned out well !
Looks pretty perfect...and I loved the story of the return of the hearing aid. Nice to know there are people who will go to that kind of trouble to do the right thing.
Beautiful, vibrant, cheerful composition with the flowers and the fruit! And, what a story to go with it regarding the hearing aid!! That is really amazing!! We are still hoping that somehow, somewhere my husband's iphone, and our missing ipad get returned, but I think deep down inside we have given up on those!
You did a great job on this shot, Maggiemae. It is perfect. So glad about John's hearing aid and how wonderful people were to get it back to the owner. They are not cheap so I know greatly appreciated. Sounds like such a wonderful day. FAV
