I found this under our deck so lay on my tum and worked my way up close with my camera. Its going to get its head snapped off though before it scatters these hundreds of seeds everywhere!
Looks really startling on the black!
Three good thing:
1. Amazing feed back about my camera settings info - the answer, I feel is from Jen @jennywren who says if you email these photos anywhere, they lose that info and that is what I do - to my Macbook Air.
2. Going to the rugby on Sat - our team the Highlanders are playing the next province,Canterbury, the Crusaders and they are always at loggerheads! Staying overnight in the University Executive House which is 5 mins walk from the magnificent Forsythe Barr Stadium.
3. Pear and orange go so nicely together in our breakfast smoothies! I wouldn't have thought so.
The problem with photographing dandelions is that I am always tempted to blow very hard . I think I was hard wired as a child. I guess I am perpetuating the species.
Love the clarity of this - and it looks awesome on black. I'm always a bit torn with games between Otago and Canterbury - I grew up in Dunedin but I've lived in Christchurch for years.
Love this....so beautiful and fluffy!! FAV!! I have been wanting to do one of these photos for sometime now, but I just cannot find any dandelions around here. This one was definitely worth crawling on your hands and knees... oh, and I will have to try the pear and orange smoothie when my tummy is settled!
Lovely on black! Looks even fluffier. Good luck with the blowing shot - set your camera to the max frames per second and you might get a few images of the burst.
This is so classic, fuzzy and pretty, especially against the dark background! I have to keep my eyes open for such simple beauty around, hopefully I will learn to do it! And thank you for the follow and commenting on my pictures - any input and interest from the fellow 365-er is a great motivation and encouragement! Thanks!
