Glass with a story

This glass has a secret compartment… you see the grey water in the bubble underneath - didn’t know what this was until we found that if you used a pin to get into this area from the bottom, the liquid would drip out. Obviously a very tiny opening allowed dishwasher water to enter this bubble under heat.
Meanwhile I used the bubble to try for a picture through this to what is outside the window! Not so good but makes a photo for today.

Three good things:
1. Cold and wind plus rain meant a day inside - books, a movie, music.
2. Pulled out a few stray hairs from places that they shouldn’t be! We had turns!
3. Having a home is wonderful - comfort, availability of services, windows to look out on the world!
How interesting. I like the shine of it with the colours in the background.

Looks like your very own brand of wine...thought you & John had been growing grapes & treading with bare feet! Such clear glass thought to your lovely garden.

@happypat We do grow grapes but they are so sour, the wine would turn your mouth inside out! That's really sour grapes!

How artistic, although I imagine it must be quite frustrating trying to get all of the dishwasher water out! It does make for a nice photo, though.

This is a phenomenon I haven't seen before--very interesting. I agree, it's great to have a home--it must be so dreadful not to have one.
