Mr Man made it through the deep valleys hidden in the Kaikouras and didn’t see the right post boxes. He discovered what he thought was a shortcut but found he needed not just a boat but a helicopter! He stared at all this raging water and thought there must have been a better way to carry on! Yolanda has become more of a challenge!
Three Good Things:
1. The party across the road on a Saturday night seemed to end at 245 am which is better than 4am!
2. A small spider got away in spite of me whacking him 8 times!
3. Got the iMac going except for some apps which we may have to buy again!
Lol. Love the tag. Mr. Man is pretty smart to know his limitations. I hope he's enjoying all the beautiful scenery that he is seen in his quest for Yolanda.
@bruni I know that if he goes further north, he will find a bridge, Bruni! He has got an iPhone so that if he uses the GPS function, it will be all go!
Looks like you are having fun with Mr Man. I sure do not like to be kept awake by neighbors. It happens just once in a while. Resilient spider. My iMac is running slow again. Will have my son look at it again on Wednesday or he actually can remote into it from where he lives. Hope you are enjoying yours.
@darsphotos Make sure you are emptying all the trash, Darlene! Mine took a heap of work before it started running fast again. Like taking EVERYTHING out and putting it all back again from the backup!
@maggiemae I only had a little trash and just emptied it. My son deleted a lot of photos as he made a second file and put those into my trash but emptied that too. I have my backup though it says it is full and cannot backup before July of last year. I thought backup meant all that is on my computer and adds what I add each time. Wonder if this means everything before July last year is not backing up. So confused. Will have him look at this on Wednesday. Thanks for the reminder as I need to make notes for him.
@maggiemae Hmmm, that is so strange. I thought we backup our computer each time and it replaces what was there previously. I will have my son check for me.
@maggiemae My son came by and wiped out my external hard drive and he backed up my computer for me. It did not disconnect correctly for some reason so will have him check it on Sunday when he is here. So much to do and so much happening in our lives. It all seems overwhelming but we will get through it.
Yay for getting the iMac running!!
