These two ducks together have both been out to a party on Saturday night -
Now, one’s headless and the other is legless!
NZ’s native duck, the Paradise Duck, commonly known as the Paralysed Duck (only by us)
Three good things:
1. A wonderfulyl hot and sunny day - not so on the other side of the world - snow and cold!
2. I think I have learned more English words to use on 365 than I learnt in school!
3. Sat inside a lovely cafe on the beach and watched everyone else dig into huge scones, sausages and eggs, chips and enormous sandwiches and felt good - I just had coffee!
@snaphappi I was actually aiming for the reflection Maggie but found there was other interesting things when I downloaded! They were quite a distance away!
Yes , they've definitely had a hard night out and need to recup rate! Wonderful colours and reflections. In this part of the other side of the world we've had a glorious spring day but in parts of On trio, same latitude different continent, they have deep snow. The world has gone mad!
Fabulous color intensity for these very unique animals. One wonders how he knows to get around with no head and how he can get around with no feet!

They do look in a poor ole way! I like the composition and the lovely reflections. The green is absolutely beautiful. While we were walking by the river at Cambridge we spotted two ducks mating. The male was almost drowning the female her head was just about under the water! However she survived and all was well, but I was amazed to see it.
You made me laugh! I feel headless now. It is 12:45 pm. Hubby woke me up. Now I am wide awake. Thanks for looking at the Picasso photo. I did delete it. I had second thoughts. Maybe I should not place the original Picasso here. I deleted the photo and only placed mine again. Gone are all the comments.
@maggiemae Ha ha tried to count sheep also that did not work either. Better switch off the laptop. Just now the sun will rise and I will still check photos on 365...
Brilliant shot. Love all the shimmering reflections on the water. I wonder how you managed to sttay on coffee while others were gulping down all that food.
