On the road

again..........! Done the first 300km of our 40000km journey! Just to Christchurch where I took this photo from the car as we travelled along the coast to see friends.

Thanks to all who wished us a safe journey!

Three good things:
1. All packed and in the car for the first leg with nothing gone wrong.
2. Learnt a bit more about Facebook and privacy connections.
3. At a restaurant John asked for a 'very rare' steak and got a 'very well done' one. The waitress not so good at English. However a new steak barely done came out very quickly!

Big difference between well done & very rare!! On the road again.....you must be excited! Thinking you must have lots of luggage, aren't you supposed to dress up a bit in the evening on a cruise? It must be a case of juggling flying weight with cruising weight! These dedicated cyclists, we have one in our family!

K@maggiemae we will be with family in London, Ontario. Niagara is the nearest we will get to you. Just a chillin family visit. We go every year and have. Great time with them. We have gone on from there to other Parts of Canada with them. Also visited Vancouver, and hired a motor home to travel Rockies on our own.
