The boat ploughed on through thick mist emitting gynormous shrieks with the fog horn. If you were on deck and heard this you would probably fall overboard with fright!
This is outside with the sun trying to break through the mist.
The food on this boat is 5 star and you only get a small helping. Lunch was a salad and some sort of chopped callimari in a delicate sauce. Dinner, veal escalopes and divine mashed potato accompanied by a Spanish red wine - a bit like pinot noir!
Three good things:
1. Going into the bathroom without my glasses resulted in me smothering myself with hair conditioner rather than body lotion!
2. A line dancing class at midday was just great.
3. Everywhere we went, a waiter would approach us and ask if we would like a drink! Difficult to say, no and even more difficult to refuse another! We staggered down the hallway to bed bouncing off all the walls!
Fantastic. Not sure why but it looks very 1920's. Expect Noel Coward character's to appear any moment! Love your 3 best things. Sounds as though you are having wonderful time. Fav
Wonderful image -great processing! Love your 3 good things! No 1 made me laugh as I have done something similar without my glasses! It sounds luxurious - wonderful food and service! Enjoy! Just don't fall overboard when you have too many of those drinks! Fav!
I love your pov for this shot and your choice of processing, the tones are beautiful. Now I am left wondering if your No. 1 happened before or after No. 3!
I had a great laugh at two of your three good things for today. What a stunning photo you captured here, fabulous light and colors. There is a dreamy quality to the processing too.
@maggiemae Hey, that sounds like a cruise we took several years ago -- boarded ship at Hong Kong and did two back to back cruises -- China, Japan, South Korea, Petropavlosk in the Siberian Peninsula, the Aleutians, Unalaska, disembarked at Vancouver -- 32 days. Awesome. Have a fabulous time! Love cruising. We were on Holland-America!!
