I arrived up on the outside deck at this very moment when the sun disappeared! We were docked in Osaka, Japan which is a nice city with friendly people!
Three good things:
1. Eventually found John after 1 &1/2 hours - one can lose somebody easily if they use the lift and the other uses stairs!
2. A great tour of the city finishing with a lunch high up in the Sky Tower in a Chinese Restaurant where there was only four people there. Some delicious little steamed dumplings.
3. Only three sore parts of my body after my calamitous fall into the door and on the floor during the storm! Both elbows and one shoulder. No problems.
Those colours are incredible. Number 1 made me laugh but I'm sure you didn't find it funny at the time! I'm glad the visit is going well, and so sorry to hear about all your injuries :(
@julzmaioro I still got annoyed though, Julia - he gave me the idea he would join me and at 8pm it was a bit disruptive! Maybe I should have slapped myself on the wrist!?
I didn't realise you fell, poor you Maggie, that will be sore for a bit! Should have stayed in bed of did you fall out of bed? This is such a beautiful sunset.....the sky is mesmerising & very Eastern.
Thats the great thing about cruising. Each of you can do your own thing and eventually find each other again. LOVE cruising. We have done the Hong Kong to Osaka and then continued on to China, South Korea, across the Sea of Japan to Aleutians, down to Ketchikan, Sitka, and disembarked at Vancouver, B.C. Fantastic 32 day back to back cruises.
