I was hoping for a photo opportunity then I realised that I had to discover what my camera was capable of. I looked at the menu and tried various options on this particular scene which was a little creek going through the small town of Oamaru into a larger creek. In the Spring, this grassy area is covered with daffodils!
Its a bit like ‘A midsummer nights dream’ but i can’t see Ophelia drifting down this small creek! Or am i confusing with Hamlet? Hey non nonny!
Three good things:
1. Our window cleaner arrived and made our home into a series of beautiful outdoor scenes!
2. Got out the vacuum as couches and beds had to be dragged out from the wall for this exercise! No dead mice or dried up chicken wings hiding there, thank goodness!
3. This photo took advantage of the camera in- menu - picture effect.
Let me just tell you how clever your camera is to make this look perfectly like a painting. Good to know you found no surprises for the vaccuuming either.
I really like the softness of this scene Maggie. I've been doing the same with my camera. It has so many settings I don't use I need to find out what they all do!
I'm thinking more of The Lady of Shallot! I'm glad you didn't find any sweetie papers under my bed Maggie! Pretty little creek & even prettier in the Spring!
