Around midday we decided to make the most of the sunny conditions and packed the caravan up and headed north. This was a little camping ground, beautifully planted out and sheltered by 'hedge' of high trees. Found out where to put the water and pump in, plugged into the power and the wifi and we were hunky dory!
Three good things;
1. A challenge where Sadie (the merc) would not move forward the few inches we wanted to level the caravan. Not solved until the middle of the night when John remembered the parking brake came on if the door was open!
2. Cooked up a meal of sausages, mash and peas with gravy - rather nice.
3. Our first night in the caravan!
Years and years ago in our camping days we had a similar caravan. no stove, no plumbing, no wifi...just had to find a campground with facilities. out came the old Colman stove and Colman lamp, but we had fun.
I bet you were excited, like kids playing at houses! Looks a lovely camp site under that midnight blue sky! Even a little light to mark your position on the field, have they also got a shower block & other facilities? Not that you would need any of them as I'm sure you have everything on board! Have fun & joy your breakfast!
