Towards the west

Learning more as I go, I found a ‘tips’ setting on my camera which encouraged more DOF. Use ‘A’ for aperture and manipulate the ring on the front for better focus. It worked for one of my photos beautifully.
However I thought it time to fine-tune panorama.

This is a scene I see on our bike trail towards the mountains in the west. It was good on the way here but on the way back , cold driving rain.

Three good things:
1. The rain stopped closer to Oamaru.
2. I photographed the blossom trees on the way here but they had just about lost the best look.
3. Thai Green Curry with rice - following the recipe - it was spicy hot but delicious!
Love the sky in this! Such amazing depth to it!

Thanks Jane for that! I did want the mountains to be in more focus but the panorama function won't allow any manual work!

Your Thai curry sounds tasty, I have taken a liking to more tasty foods such as curry lately. Love the glow here & the long road in front of you. Cycling again, it must be Spring time! Not good cycling with the rain in your face! You are using your camera to its full use!

@happypat I am finding more and more about this camera after 2 years of ownership, Pat. Still lots to learn and use.. That road is a private driveway into a farm.

Very moody rain cloud sky, and the farm drive leads the eye beyond the gateway to some lovely scenery. I like it very much, fav.
