A New Year

Its New Year and I did want to create something memorable…. but mine wasn’t as good as many on 365. Still it is made with real champagne, real pouring, real bubbles but entirely false bokeh!
Three reals and one false has got to have some significance.

Three good things:
1 Our own NZ midnight passed obliviously!
2. I connected my iMac to BBC6 and from there via bluetooth to a good speaker. We listened to a New Year’s program ( seemed to be in Cumbria but who’s counting) and at midnight, (1pm our time) we celebrated like this with Big Ben! So exciting, I just about couldn’t find my voice to sing!
3. A sandy walk on a nearby beach - seemed in that deep soft sand to go 1 pace backwards before 1 pace forward! Lots of exercise!

How lovely that you celebrated our New Year in in your house in NZ! I can just see you sitting there with your bubbly! I watched your new year in too at 11am our time! I too meant to take a meaningful photo last night at our 'do' but completely forgot! Should have taken a selfie of us two with Harry in his new slimline suit!
