I’m so pleased so many liked my landscape of yesterday - taken through the windscreen!
Now we see the wonderful deep crystal blue waters of Lake Tekapo in the South Island just in front of us. No power, no TV (the antenna doesn’t work for some reason), no water, no toilets. Totally self sufficient! Caveman stuff!
Three Good Things:
1. Our battery operated items - computer, iPad, iPhones need power. We took a trip up to an amazing mountain area and all the while they were charging - one with an adapter.
2. There John stopped us dead in our tracks - a cherry tree? No, a cherry plum. But the native birds were hopping in and off the branches getting their fill. This photo is one that I managed to get good focus.
3. A guy was handling a remote drone over this wild territory. He was Asian and knew what he was doing even if the wild winds were taking it off course. His girlfriend kept posing on the steep slopes like they did on the Titanic Movie!
@maggiemae I liked that other Lake too the really cold one just a bit further on under Mount Cook, forgotten the name but it's supposed to be the coldest, begins with a P.
Beautiful light. Japanese posing brings back memories of touring. Girls are always in front of the camera. I arrive home and you'd think I'd never been away. I'm seldom in a photo.
