One of the many odd cars one sees sailing across the flats- I don't expect half of them have a warrant or a licence but it doesn't seem to matter.
Three Good Things:
1. Got a nap in the afternoon at the hotel after being awake most of the night!
2. The Tribute Indian bike didn't better his record yesterday but it got so much attention.
3. Playing the DVD "The World's Fastest Indian' on a big screen outside in the desert late at night!
What an experience Maggie ! I am 100% with Joys @joysfocus I was going to suggest Mad Max with 1/2 boat,1/2 tractor contraption !! Great photo opportunities I should imagine and good to manage an afternoon nap in all the excitement !!
The area around Bonneville is so other worldly and photogenic. The salty water reflects like nothing I've ever seen and the scenes always look cold even though I know it can get brutally hot there. I am enjoying your pictures and wishing I could see more.
WhT a treat to see this old car, it looks in perfect keeping with the whole Bonneville flats story. It's just like a film set, & must be so exciting to be actually there on this famous length of sand! I'm sure the Indian was the star of the show!
Terrific photo of this quirky little car. Such an experience you must be having that is truly memorable. It sounds like you are enjoying every moment of it in spite of the heat
Love this! the Esky & the " put together car." could be in outback Ql'd..Oz. .That green car behind looks pretty good too...What a trip you are experiencing !!!!!
great car!
