Bonneville scenes

This is a VW but it has a particular name aligned to outback riding. It does say "official' on it.

Three good things:
1. Temperatures were a bit cooler but still too hot to stand in the sun.
2. Learning about using my speed setting on the camera
3. Drank so much water, I must be soggy inside!
This is such an endearing style to portray the VW beetle. Love the understated colours here.

High noon makes it very difficult to photograph but you have done a magnificent job with this one and yes I like it without the people in it to distract

This little "bug" reminds me of Herbie the Love Bug of Walt Disney fame- although I think that Herbie raced on roads and not salt flats. Is the camera working ok now? You need to drink that much water there- it's so hot you never know when you're perspiring since it evaporates right away. Great shot!! fav
