O gather me the rose, the rose,
While yet in flower we find it,
For summer smiles, but summer goes,
And winter waits behind it.
William Ernest Henry
I felt I had to get a good photo of the golden roses, still blooming. They were hard pruned last winter and seem to benefit from that!
Could be good on the Black..
Three good things:
1. A new book (real) from the library.
2. My indoor slippers can take a bit of damp from the wet grass, getting this rose.
3. Honesty and sincerity from 365 friends!
Absolutely spectacular onthe black background you shot it on and even more superb when viewed on black! I wish I could FAV a hundred times instead of only one!
