There are so many ideas on living and exacting the best out of life - its confusing. I am a firm believer in happiness and contentment whether its furious or slow.
Here we are with a great purchase - this is 1960’s movie with Frankie Baby, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jnr (now who was the Senior?) and other familiar characters playing on our new screen! Some good songs! I felt I could step into this scene!
Three good things:
1. Went down to the recycle place, bottles, cardboard and paper. Our TV came with no end of styrofoam and that costs to dump! Should be a better way!
2. A lunch that was delicious and a weight watchers option!
3. Our TV installer left his jacket behind. He was so good that I filled his pockets with sweets for when he knew where he had left it!
Great comfort shot :)…#3 What a great treat for the installer. I purchased a new tv and bose sound bar which makes it feel like I'm in a theater. I need the sound bar because my I cannot pick up low tones even with my hearing aids.
We have said that when our TV goes, that's the end of TV for us- but I have this niggling sense that a flat screen may be in our future... Sounds like a good purchase for you.
Loved the idea of a little surprise for the tv installer. There was a Sammy Davis Sr. The 2 Davises and another performer used to be a singing and dancing trio called The Will Mastin Trio. Sammy Jr. was just a kid but he could dance like a pro.
