I had put out a ball of fat and seeds to attract birds and boy, did that happen! They went wild - dozens of them all fighting for space and a bit of food ! This wee fellow looked as if he had had enough!
Three good things:
1. The flock of ring-eyes as they are known finished this huge ball of food within one day!
2. My coffee machine flooded and I had to clean it out properly - mopping up coffee flavoured water everywhere! Instant coffee saved the day.
3. I do admire Prunella Scales together with her husband,Timothy West going out to distant lands and making documentaries about water travel, canals, rivers etc. She has dementia and handles it so well!
He looks as if he couldn't fly an inch after his feast !! It is amazing how Timothy West and Prunella Scales manage their documentaries on water travel I remember watching them enjoying their canal trip in England , some time ago and admired how well she coped !
I wish we could see these documentaries. I will look at the BBC itinerary on our TV to see if they are available here. This is a sweet photo, he looks stuffed!
What a cute little fluffball!
I love those canal programmes with Timothy West and Prunella Scales too. They are so good together, aren't they? And she is amazing to still be doing such work so publicly with her dementia issues. Wonderful couple.
The Prunella Scales programmes are lovely aren't they, I like the everyday chat as they sail along. Rhododendron buds are fattening up nicely & the little bird has wpescaped Fifa some peace & quiet!
Sorry about your coffee mishap

I didn't know Prunella Scales was married to Timothy West. I have learned something new on 365 today.
