This photo was an idea I had that really didn’t eventuate but this particular result took a fair bit of work. I had to put the motorbike on to a white background which was not the background of a garage that had 2 other motorbikes, a car and numerous garden implements and was where the bike was parked!
Three good things:
1. Worked OK but not perfect. Would have been better using lightroom but I haven’t a clue how to work that.
2. Love TV programmes set in Cambridge or Oxford!
3. Backups that work.
Is it on snow Ha ha? I have no idea how you got that stark white background, it shows the bike off magnificently! John will be impressed, a fab advert!
I think you've done a really good job. The only way I would have attempted this would be to get it parked on and against some old rolls of wallpaper (reversed) and then remove the joins.
@fbailey Its done on picmonkey, Felicity using the Layers function. Start off with a blank canvas choosing your colour then layer the next picture on and 'rub' off the bits you don't want to be there!
Fab bike and job of wiping out the background. Not sure lightroom could have done this so maybe photoshop . I'm pretty good in lightroom but clueless in Photoshop
@maggiemae I shall post one tomorrow for you! Didn't get to The Backs today - we were at the Arts Theatre watching a play - but I did snap some bikes just for you
A Velocette will always get my vote - the bike I most regret selling was a limited edition Velocette Venom Thruxton: sold for £260 51 years ago... worth £15-20,000 today!
