More sun today - not too cold to go walking down by the sea and chose to photograph the huge wall of the Steam Punk Headquarters. I used the EV to lighten the shot and then used levels to bring more colour to the mask.
Three good things:
1. Felt really proud of my town - a lot going on - building, beautifying, planting etc.
2. Being retired means you can go to bed early if you want… I did and caught up on some lost energy.
3. Fresh salads in a bag to buy.
It is such an interesting building ... a very different processing of it .. I love your town as well .. It got some bad press the other week on 7 Sharp which I though was unfair ..
@julzmaioro But you should have been aware of what happened after that - the News Team decided they would have to come to Oamaru! I was really surprised they didn't know about me - famous person born in Oamaru! lol!
@maggiemae Thanks Maggie, I'm not familiar with either of these. I use Elements 11 and the free Nik filters. Most of my pics need all the help they can get!
@grammyn Its actually made of Oamaru stone, Katy and as this wall faces south, it has quite a lot of mould and green on it - so I wanted to minimise that!
@janemartin This is on a side wall, Jane and not seen much by anyone unless you go down the side. On the other side, more public is a odd looking fisherman fishing off the roof for steam punk butterflies!
