Between Two (or more) Trees by maggiemae

Between Two (or more) Trees

its Sunday and a relaxed day always! Whether going to church or staying inside and not doing anything!
Later at sundown the clouds were very temporarily dramatic.
I had to allow this corner of the neighbour’s roof to be in it to balance the photo.
Three Good Things;
1. Chatted to our son in Japan. Glad he is getting good medical advice with Poly myalgia. Steroids make their mark.
2. His father-in -law died and the funeral is quite unusual according to their religion. Jay kept talking about dropping the bones in the wrong place. Naughty!
3. A new salad using Gado sauce - peanut!
This is a fascinating image.

Loving the little sprays of leaf....you are quite high up aren't you? Beautiful view, you could never tire of that! Sounds a very interesting conversation on the telephone! I'm sorry he has that nasty affliction though.

@happypat It was Facetime, Pat so we could chat and view at the same time - almost like being there!

A great view and interesting processing! Polymyalga is a horrible condition- one of my friends has it. I hope he can get relief from the pain. Taking steroids long term is not good.

@pamknowler They are working on alternatives over there in Japan, Pam. Thank goodness. He's been on steroids for over 5 years!

I like how this plays with our minds as we sort out the trees and clouds sandwiching the sunset.
July 29th, 2018
@taffy sandwiching is a good word, Taffy - its the filling that was the colour and focus!

Looks great... as if darkness is lifting, rather than falling.

A rather intriguing shot, love the colours and sense of mystery.

@golftragic Thanks Marnie - its a spur of the moment shot. Sometimes it works and sometimes it is not what you want! The neighbours house was in the way and I can't remove it - might get arrested!
July 30th, 2018
@maggiemae Can't have that. Our neighbour's roof has butted in on some of my shots at times. Darned nuisance.
July 30th, 2018
Fabulous colours , it can be annoying with roofs
July 30th, 2018
@Dawn Thanks for your comment, Dawn - did you know you can spell roof - plural - as roofs or rooves?

The dramatic sky looks like a shade being drawn down on the night! Very interesting capture!
July 30th, 2018
@gardenfolk It does too, Ms CC! A very nice comparison and thought!
July 30th, 2018
The sky looks very dramatic. Love the lower part with the varying colours.

@willowdragon He has to go to the hospital once a month to get blood tests done. There has been no improvement unfortunately but they are working on different medications.
