A cold snap is on its way with cold winds, snow and road closures!
This was taken before the front came through. I took it for the zig zag light on the roofs of the new Retirement Village Villas away up there on the opposite ridge.
Three Good Things:
1. Liked the sky more than the light on the roofs- or is it ‘rooves’?
2. Got my iPod organised with latest music for a potential motorcaravan trip.
3. Making lists.
Caravan trips on your mind now the better weather arriving! You must have fun planning! Our younger ones at the beach in Maunganui but I notice they have sweaters on still. That retirement village us high, they will have a great view & mobility scooters hopefully!!
@happypat the weather is going to deteriorate into hail, snow and high winds, Pat but John has to help with the Lion's catering for Field Days down in Palmerston! Brrr!
@maggiemae On really hot days now I'm just as likely to flake out and go to sleep, very refreshing. Cold days, OK inside with the heater cranked up, our house is cosy, thank goodness. Lots of computer and books then. We've had a major outburst of gardening in the past few days since it warmed up, lovely to see some new seedlings go in.
(Fairytale floating city in the skies…)
