Our wisteria is at its best before the leaves overtake the whole plant. In the background is a large lavender bush with the same purple as the wisteria. Rhododendrons are also nearby.
This photo is also good with the wide Black surrounds.
Three good things:
1. The final of Australian Masterchef is on. Loved it but don’t think I could handle another!
2. I’ve got some avocados in a brown paper bag in the larder to ripen! Hope I remember!
3. Oamaru was the warmest place in NZ today! Sat outside and read my book furiously as it is due back at the library tomorrow!
Gorgeous wisteria.
The Dutch name is 'blauwe regen' (blue rain). A warm day here too, but no time to sit outside with a book. Had to tidy up the fallen leaves and beech nuts.
Your wisteria looks lush & full of gorgeous blooms, you have made it look exotic! A gorgeous day here too but inside eating & drinking all day! Have only done 1,062 steps & 29 calories! That's no good when that was just the little bit of the bannofi pie. Must do better! I know the feeling re library book!
Pretty view- I really love the look of Wisteria- especially the way the flowers drape over from the vine. So pretty! Sounds like a lovely day too- we had sun for most of ours, but it was just a little too brisk for sitting outside.
@louannwarren It does look like the lilac flower but its actually a wisteria, Lou Ann! I'd love to have a lilac bush - that gives me an idea as I have a space in the garden!
