This is the 29th of Oct and my previous photos are in my other travel computer which gave up the ghost. A new battery costs $100's but has to be installed. Anyway we are in Sumner in Christchurch in Nz and I was out walking late. Right beside the sea.
Three Good things:
1. Couldn't make my travel computer work so gave up trying. Couldn't get the B&B's TV in our room to work so gave up trying! A real book has no such problem.
2. Fitting so many visits into these few days in Christchurch and it takes so long to get from one side to another! I'm just glad we don't live in a city!
3. Our B&B is called "Le Petit Hotel but we don't have to speak French! Just eat fresh croissants for breakfast!
A beautiful photo! So much to see! There’s probably nothing better than to take a nice walk by the sea and read a book. Oh and have croissants! Enjoy your holiday!
@grammyn I'm only missing one day in my photos on that computer, Katy - took a photo but didn't keep it on my camera. Will get it eventually! Sometimes it pays not to delete photos off your camera stick!
I've lost track of you maggie! Been bad at commenting over mast few days, too tired & same tonight but I have been out all day so it serves me right. Couldn't miss opportunity to have a day out with my girls. Gig some antibiotics this morning so will be fighting fit for weekend when we gave friends staying! Adults fine but their dog is a trial! Love this amazing jungle of colour & life! Gorgeous colours...quite exotic! Just watching a programme on TV this very minute about the amazing wild life in NZ.
@maggiemae You're right, of course. For various reasons, personal, medical and circumstantial, I've had a long fight with the black dog but have finally come out on top and feel much better for being off all those particular meds. Part of that healing involved 'reprogramming' my thinking and emotional responses etc. Took a long time but the effort was worth it. Now I can let most of the bad things go, and generally 'accept' those that can't go away. I'm a much nicer person to live with as a result.
@maggiemae Absolutely!!!! Enrichment is the right word, aren't we lucky? When I first read of 365 I was very wary in case it was just another form of social media with all the attendant issues. Thank goodness I decided to try it out to see how things went.
Sorry about the computer I think fresh croissants for breakfast might make up for that
