I realised that the wind was hardly evident early in the morning so got up and outside to our three rowan trees growing.. now with berries.
Three good things:
1. I could manipulate the settings - aperture and ISO to get results that I was happy with.
2. Lovely day - no real heat. We were able to do more tidying in the garden without dashing inside for a cold drink - fruit drinks - Southern areas: longer, cooler growing conditions that promote stronger, more vibrant fruit flavours and higher acidity levels. We are talking about sauvignon blanc!
3. John and I stand here in our home, look out the window and just absorb the beauty of our garden now.
A lovely shot Maggie. Sounds as if you know your camera more than I do! Spent ages today tring to work out why the pics were a ghastly blue shade - wrong ISO!
Oh wow, I adore rowans, but they don't do well here. When we played golf at the Kelvin Heights course in Queenstown all the rowans were in full berry. Fabulous.
@ludwigsdiana Its not private, Diana -we can see all three neighbours - over the fence! But have learned to be happy with what we have got and worked for!
You know how to pick your fruit drinks!
